How To Start Trading On Everstrike
Get started with trading on Everstrike.

Everstrike is designed to be easy to use.

Because of that, the onboarding process is super simple. Just complete the following three steps:

- Create an account with your email (your email is used to validate your logins)
- Connect your wallet
- Confirm ownership of your wallet

Once you have completed the process above, you will be able to deposit, withdraw, stake and trade.

If you don't have a wallet, you can use Everstrike in CEX mode. This makes Everstrike create and manage a wallet on your behalf. CEX mode is designed to mimic the user experience on centralized exchanges.

Why email login?

We realize that you may not have access to your wallet on all of your devices (phone, laptop, desktop, tablet). So we give you the option to trade from any device, as long as you have access to your email on that device.

Is email login secure?

Yes. It's secure, since you still need wallet access to deposit/withdraw. If you are worried about other people gaining access to your email and trading on your behalf, you can protect your account with 2FA.

Which wallet can I use?

Metamask, and any wallet that is supported by WalletConnect.

What happens once my wallet is connected?

You will be able to deposit, withdraw and stake.

Can I connect multiple wallets?

You can only have one wallet connected per email and per account.

Do I need to confirm ownership of my wallet?

Yes, you need to confirm ownership of your wallet by signing a message and publishing it to the blockchain.

This is the only onboarding step utilized by Everstrike at the moment.

You do it once (the first time you connect your wallet), and then never again.

Can I change my wallet once it's been confirmed?

No. Once you have confirmed ownership of your wallet, you can no longer change it. If you want to use a different wallet address, you will need to create a separate account, with a different email address.

I don't want to bother with a wallet. Can I use Everstrike like a CEX?

Yes. You can use Everstrike in CEX mode. Everstrike will create and manage a wallet for you.

Can you show me step by step how to do the onboarding?

Sure.

Step 1:

Go to Sign Up and enter your email.

Step 2:

Choose a nickname. Your nickname is displayed in the Everstrike Chat and on the Everstrike Leaderboard. Choose it carefully. Once selected, it cannot be changed.

Step 3:

After a few seconds, your account is created, and you are redirected to the Portfolio view. Click Connect Wallet in the top right corner.

Step 4:

Choose either Metamask or WalletConnect. On desktop, we recommend Metamask.

Step 5:

Follow the instructions to connect your wallet. If your wallet is on mobile, you may need to scan a QR code. Note: If you just installed the Metamask browser extension, you might need to refresh the page, to ensure that the application is picked up by Everstrike.

Step 6:

You will receive a request to set your primary wallet. This is to confirm that you own the wallet, and to link it to your Everstrike account. Carefully review the displayed address, and then click Confirm. Note: For this to work, your wallet must be connected to a network supported by Everstrike.

Step 7:

A Signature Request will be displayed by your wallet. You are signing a message that proves ownership of your wallet, and publishing it to the blockchain. Review the message, and click Sign.

Step 8:

Your wallet will now be displayed in the Account Overview.

Step 9:

You can now deposit funds through the Portfolio Overview.
Is it safe to sign a message with my wallet?

Yes. It's safe to sign a message with your wallet, as long as you understand the contents of the message. In this case, the content is the following string:

"I want to register this wallet with Everstrike and my unique account ID is <UNIQUE ACCOUNT ID>"

This message does not authorize anyone to do anything on your behalf. It's only used to prove ownership of your wallet.

Never sign messages with content that you don't understand.

Can I trade with USDT?

No. Everstrike only accepts Everstrike USD (USD) as collateral.

How do I get Everstrike USD (USD) in my account?

Complete the following three-step process:

  • Deposit USDT
  • Stake USDT
  • Mint USD
